Samantha Jones, Montreal Style

If you would have known me two years ago, you would not have recognized me. I was the shy, timid girl sitting at the back of her lecture class in college. I never raised my hand; nor did I have the courage to speak to the hot blonde motorcycle babe who sat a few seats up in most of my classes. His name was Adam. He looked like a surfer guy… long blonde curly locks, ocean blue eyes and the body of a god. (Bend me over this desk and take me now?)

Needless to say, I didn’t date. I had a lot of friends, but I kept my distance.
Everything changed when I moved back to my home town of Montreal in La Belle Province.

I joined a dating site, and began to discover who I was as a woman. You can only fondle yourself with a vibrator for so long before you realize that there has to be something more. After an orgasm, you want to be held… not surrounded by pillow imagining that Nick Carter from the Backstreet Boys is soundly sleeping beside you. (He would have fallen asleep right away from the crazy sex you just had together…obviously)

Was that really where I was headed for the rest of my life? I joined a gym, got fit… started tanning… My life certainly took a turn for the better. And so it started…

I bought The Manual by Steve Santagati This what a breakthrough for my life. I would refer to myself as the black widow. We tend to spin a web consisting of the following five things:

1. We are unapologetically Sexy.
2. We communicate with our eyes as much as we do with our bodies backing up our gazes with a knowing smirk.
3. We have no problem blowing men off.
4. We know how men think and manipulate every angle of your psyche. It’s second nature.
5. We dress in a way that leaves out victim helpless.

Make sure to Google his work…  for those of you who need a few pointers.
By no means have I mastered the opposite sex. Quite the contrary, but learning new things is always fun. I’ve tried to date a different variety of people  in the last 2 years; from Jewish to Italian, Big&Tall and Thin&Gangling, Rich and Middle Class… etc. It’s like testing out all the flavors before you decide your favorite. I’m talking about the variety of quality of men that we have out there… get your mind out of the gutter 😉

In the process, I’ve gained more confidence and self-assurance towards my outlook on life. You can have anything you want if you take action. We’re in the 21st Century, it’s time to step up our game ladies. Stop living in the shadows; if you want something, GO GET IT.

Along with the book, I also invested in the entire box set of Sex and the City. These four women had to be doing something right… I fell in love with Samantha Jones.
